Listen to a moment from the practice
Why I made this
I’m Ingrid Koivukangas. I’ve spent thirty years listening to land — invited to sites around the world, arriving with no predetermined idea. I work intuitively. I walk. I listen. I wait. The land shares its messages with me.
What began as an environmental art practice gradually became a way of living — shaped by attention, patience, and learning how to listen rather than impose.
The work — the installations, the writing, the oracle decks, the gardens at Alchemy Farm — has always had one purpose: to invite others back into relationship with the earth. But an art exhibit requires travel. The farm required a visit. I kept asking myself: how do I help someone reconnect to the earth directly, wherever they are, whenever they need it?
One day, sitting with that question, it was as if a whisper entered the room.
Listening to the Earth was born.
This practice is that experience, distilled. Not from theory, but from thirty years of returning again and again to quiet presence.
This is a simple invitation to experience that same slowing and listening, in your own way.
I’m an award-winning environmental artist and writer, with permanent works across Canada and internationally. You can see the full body of work at IngridKoivukangas.com. My writing lives at AlchemyinNature.com — you’re welcome there too.
By turning attention outward — to the senses, body, and the living world — we often find ourselves returning inward, without effort.
There is nothing to achieve here. No insight you’re meant to reach. Just an invitation to settle, listen, and remember what it feels like to be present in your own life.
Listening to the Earth is a simple, self-paced experience you can return to whenever you need a pause.
It includes a 9-minute audio practice and a 9-page companion workbook with reflective prompts. Listen indoors or outside, sitting, walking, or resting — in the morning, or at the end of the day.
$27 once. Delivered instantly — audio via private podcast player, guidebook to your inbox. If this practice doesn’t resonate for you, simply email within 7 days and I’ll gladly refund your purchase — no questions asked. Keep the workbook as a gift.
What a wonderful way to start my day listening…sitting at my kitchen table, I was completely transported to … my favourite place. I could feel the breeze, the warmth of the sun heated rocks, hear the birds overhead, and even smell the arbutus, all through your guidance…
What 9 minutes can shift
Something shifts when you stop trying to arrive somewhere.
The body softens. The mind quiets — not because you forced it, but because you finally gave it room.
You may notice a sense of settling you didn’t know you were waiting for. A gentle return to yourself. Like exhaling after holding your breath without realizing you were doing so.
Many people find themselves returning to this practice again and again — not out of habit, but because something in them remembers.
Feel more rooted, calmer and more able to hear your intuition.
$44 once. Delivered instantly — audio via private podcast player, guidebook to your inbox.
I’ve listened to the audio a few times and each time I discover something new. The guidebook prompts are really helpful…
What this practice is not
This is not therapy.
Not coaching.
Not a belief system.
Not a lesson to master or a problem to solve.
Listening to the Earth isn’t about fixing yourself or becoming someone new. It’s a simple practice of pausing, listening, and noticing — an invitation to meet yourself, just as you are, in this moment.
Unlike meditation apps
No streaks to maintain. No badges to earn. No notification asking if you’ve practiced today.
Just a quiet place to return to — whenever you feel the call.

FAQ
What if I've already tried meditation apps and quit?
That's exactly who this is for. Most meditation apps are built around habit formation — streaks, reminders, progress tracking. They measure your consistency and reward your return. Listening to the Earth asks nothing of you. There's no record of whether you showed up yesterday, no notification if you don't. Just a quiet practice waiting whenever you feel the call — whether that's tomorrow or three months from now.
What do I need for this practice?
Just your phone, tablet, or computer and a pair of headphones or a quiet space to listen. The practice is delivered so that you can add it to a podcast app you already use—Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or another.
How long does it take?
The audio is 9 minutes. The workbook reflection prompts can be used immediately after, or returned to whenever feels right. There's no required time commitment beyond the practice itself.
Is this spiritual or religious?
Neither. This practice is nature-based and rooted in sensory attention — it doesn't ask you to hold any particular belief, follow a tradition, or adopt a framework. It simply invites you to slow down and notice what's already here.
What is your refund and cancellation policy?
If this practice doesn’t resonate for you, simply email within 7 days and I’ll gladly refund your purchase — no questions asked. Keep the workbook as a gift.
What if I can't be outside?
The practice works indoors or outdoors, moving or still. You don't need a forest or a garden. A window, a houseplant, or simply the air in a room is enough.
What happens after I purchase?
You'll receive instant access to a private podcast feed. Add it to the podcast app you already use — Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or any other — and the audio is there whenever you want to return to it. The PDF workbook will be delivered to your inbox. Both are yours to keep.
